  Two-YEAR OLD PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Partial Day
Our two year preschool classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon or Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon. A highly qualified and educated lead and assistant teacher staff the classes. Excellent staff-child ratios are maintained at all times.

School Day

These classes are conducted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. The student to teacher ratios are at the accreditation standards. Highly dedicated, supportive, and educated teachers staff each class.

Full Day
This program is Monday through Friday and our Center is opened between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to offer flexibility to our families. Highly dedicated, supportive and educated teachers staff each class. The child-staff ratios are well below the outline in the Guide to Minimum Standards for the State of Texas.

Programs
The program will emphasize socialization through group activities, as well as introduce various materials, games and manipulative toys appropriate for this age group. The play fosters the imagination and curiosity of the two year old through daily experiences filled with exploration and discovery.

Our building is designed for the children's well being and total development. Individual classes utilize the Rainbow Room and the Great Room. The outdoor play areas are designed for optimum use by the children and the two-year old playground is equipped with the safety and enjoyment of this age in mind. A gazebo large enough to accommodate an entire class is part of this playground equipment. Our play areas provide hours of enjoyment for the children.

Curriculum
Each class is literature-based, specifically designed for age appropriate developmental skills of the children. Each teacher selects a specific book to develop a pre-determined theme and utilizes that book to present concepts pertinent to the stage of development of the children. Incorporated into each curriculum are opportunities for music, creative art, learning centers, directed activities, and outdoor fun.

The private school environment we offer provides our families with resources and tools that will enrich their life as a family. The Interfaith Child Development Center continues its outstanding accomplishments while meeting the educational and nurturing needs of our children.
